DeSoto wide receiver Ethan "Boobie" Feaster (6-1, 180), one of the nation’s most coveted recruits with over 50 offers, has reclassified from the Class of 2027 to 2026.
Feaster is the youngest player ever to earn a five-star rating in DCTF's prospect rankings. His recruitment has been historic—before ever playing a varsity down, Feaster had more than 25 offers. Now, he holds 52, including Baylor, SMU, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, and USC.
Feaster has backed up the hype with production, becoming the first freshman wide receiver to start for Claude Mathis at DeSoto. He received his first Power Four offer from TCU as an eighth grader in 2022, then made his varsity debut during 7-on-7 before helping lead DeSoto to a second straight 6A Division II state championship. His freshman campaign included 634 receiving yards and nine touchdowns, earning him 11-6A District Newcomer of the Year honors.
He elevated his game as a sophomore, recording 57 receptions for 855 yards and 14 touchdowns. His growing list of accolades includes Freshman All-American honors, a state title ring and invitations to the Navy All-American Bowl and Under Armour NEXT All-America Game.
Now, with his reclassification, Feaster's recruiting picture will formulate quickly. Expect confirmed updates on his official visit schedule soon, with Texas, Texas A&M, Oregon, LSU, Alabama and Ohio State emerging as key contenders.
