These five recruits have all excelled in the Texas high school football playoffs, which has helped boost their profiles and made them more visible to college scouts.

2025 RB Kelvin Washington - Longview: "Boosie" has emerged in a big way, stepping into the spotlight after replacing last year's No. 1 RB, Taylor Tatum. The 5-foot-9, 185-pounder has quietly become one of the state's most productive backs and a legitimate recruit that more colleges will recruit. SFA entered the mix this week with an offer, presenting him the opportunity to stay in East Texas for college ball.

2025 LB Cade Spradling - Smithson Valley: Spradling showcased his talent with five touchdowns in a dominant 49-14 win over Corpus Christi Flour Bluff. Though vital as the team's QB, his future likely lies on defense, where his 6'2, 200-pound frame and sharp football IQ stand out. He received his first FBS offer from Army on Nov. 14, with UTSA joining the mix this week.

2026 WR Chris Guidry - Brenham: The under-the-radar 2026 WR won’t stay that way for long Guidry made two one-handed highlight catches and showcased toughness with grabs over the middle in traffic in a season-ending loss to Richmond Randle. The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder has a great frame, and with a strong offseason, he’s poised to climb the prospect rankings quickly.

2026 WR Jayden Warren - Iowa Colony: Warren is a prototypical outside receiver with a big frame who makes plays over the middle. Thanks to his size and strength, he has reliable hands and is tough to tackle. He also possesses elite speed, highlighted by a 90-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder now has offers from Baylor, SMU, Texas Tech, Arkansas, Oklahoma and more.

2026 OT Keegan Collins - Canyon West Plains: In one of the year’s biggest upsets, Collins and his team defeated Stephenville to secure a matchup with Celina. His standout performance caught the attention of colleges, earning him in-state FBS offers from North Texas and UTSA. On tape, Collins shows he’s a tough blocker who plays through the whistle, understands leverage, and uses his hands effectively.
