The Early Signing Period brought clarity to many recruitments, but several Texas high school prospects remain unsigned or are still fielding interest from other programs. Here’s a closer look at standout recruits whose decisions or performances continue to attract attention as the recruiting cycle marches on to National Signing Day on Feb. 5. 

WR Ashton Ansley (6'4, 170) - Anna: A key player in Anna's top-tier offense after moving to DFW. Committed to Louisiana Tech but has Power Five potential, with UNLV making a late push.

DB Jayden Bradley (6'2, 190) - Prosper Rock Hill: A standout in the secondary with recent offers from Marshall, Jackson State, and Missouri State. Former Houston commit with a wide-open recruitment.

S Trevor Brooks (5'10, 185) - Tyler Chapel Hill: A versatile player who’s contributed at nearly every position. High football IQ and heart make him a steal despite lacking elite measurables.

TE Isaiah Butler-Tanner (6'5, 245) - Killeen Shoemaker: A jumbo tight end with receiver skills and blocking prowess. Committed to UTSA after a previous Oklahoma State pledge.

LB Ke'Von Carter (6'3, 205) - San Antonio Wagner: Former four-star prospect and Texas State commit with NFL potential. His recruitment could see late movement.

WR Gracen Harris (5'10, 170) - Ennis: A dynamic playmaker in the slot and day-one varsity starter. Decommitted from Oklahoma just days before the signing period. Held Baylor, Florida State, SMU, Texas Tech, and UTSA offers at the time he initially committed.

OT Ty Haywood (6'5, 285) - Denton Ryan: Alabama commit and No. 6 player in Texas remains unsigned. Michigan and Texas Tech could factor into his decision. He also made official visits to Oklahoma, Florida State, TCU, and Texas A&M.

LB Donovan Jones (6'1, 205) - Hewitt Midway: Former Oklahoma State commit with offers from Baylor, TCU, and UTEP. Still exploring his options.

DB George Jones III (5'11,175) - Austin Westlake: Arizona recently offered this cornerback, who has been a rock-steady presence in the secondary of one of the state's best defenses.  

ATH Terrence Lewis (5'10, 160) - Bryan: A versatile offensive weapon and return specialist. Current verbal to North Texas.

LB Seth McFarland (6'1, 225) - Longview Pine Tree: A downhill, hard-hitting linebacker and former Houston commit with a throwback playing style.

WR Kaleb Mitchell (6'6, 185) - Dallas First Baptist: A towering pass catcher and former UTSA commit known for his ability to win jump balls.

DE Phoenix Pope (6'3, 205) - Galveston Ball: A hidden gem and Louisiana commit with versatility as a disruptive edge rusher.

DL Jadyn Ramos (6'4, 215) - Conroe: Tallied 18 sacks as a senior, earning offers from UTEP, Memphis, Louisiana, Kansas, Kansas State and more.

LB Javar Thomas (6'3, 195) - Aldine Nimitz: He is one of the state's top-rated and most athletic linebackers. Has over a dozen offers on his profile. 

S Braylen Wortham (6'2, 205) - College Station: Former Sam Houston commit now considering North Texas after coaching changes.
