Elite Playmaker Jonah Williams Bringing Five-Star Prowess to Austin

Powered by a jaw-dropping senior season, 2025 S Jonah Williams (6'2, 205) now checks in as the No. 3 prospect in the DCTF 2025 prospect rankings and has been named a five-star prospect.

Williams has been a Mr. Do It All at Galveston Ball for Sheldon Bennight's Tornadoes, not only dominating on defense but also scoring touchdowns and making plays on offense and special teams. "(He's a) tremendous athlete with incredible football knowledge, (a) great leader (and) will be big-time college player," Bennight said.

The Galveston native and younger brother to three former Galveston Ball standout athletes made his commitment to Texas in late August when he selected the 'Horns over offers from Texas A&M, LSU, Oregon and USC on a windy island day.

Williams is the highest-rated safety prospect to commit to Texas since Caden Sterns in the Class of 2018.

Nigeria Native Michael Fasusi to Make an Instant Impact in Norman

2025 OT Michael Fasusi (6'5, 300) has also been elevated to five-star status.

His impact on the field for Michael Odle’s Fighting Farmers has been nothing short of dominant. "The numbers show how amazing he is, but he's an even better person," Odle shared proudly.

Fasusi’s commitment to Oklahoma came in late August to celebrate his family’s fifth anniversary of immigrating from Ondo State, Nigeria, to Lewisville. Now the jewel of OU’s 2025 class, Fasusi not only brings elite talent but also exceptional character, setting him up to make a potential day one impact at the next level.

Ranked as the No. 4 player in the state, Fasusi will be the highest-rated Texas recruit to play at Oklahoma since Kyler Murray.
