The Dave Campbell’s Texas Football 2024 Midseason All-Texas college football teams include 46 players with at least one representative from each of the 13 programs in the Lone Star State on the first or second teams. Thirty-four of the 46 play in the Power Four, suggesting the talent gap between the two levels is growing due to the transfer portal.
The top-ranked Texas Longhorns lead the way with 10 selections, including six on the first teams. Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and SMU are second in the state with six selections each. Texas State (5) and North Texas (3) lead the G5 ranks. All 13 teams in Texas have played six games each entering Week 8.
