EA Sports released its top 25 Toughest Places to Play rankings on Tuesday, and Texas A&M's Kyle Field took the top spot.
Kyle Field, Texas A&M's home stadium since 1905, underwent an extensive renovation which debuted in 2015. It's now the sixth-largest stadium in the world with a capacity of 102,733. Country music legend George Strait broke the attendance record for a ticketed concert earlier this month with 110,905.
This is not simply an honorary title, as EA Sports has baked in home-field advantage to mimic the actual effects of a college football game.
“You might experience squiggly lines, play art appearing incorrectly, audibles and hot routes failing to register at higher rates, or receiver icons fading in and out during a crucial moment of your game,” the game's website says.
Four of the top five toughest places to play were SEC teams. The next four toughest were Alabama, LSU, Ohio State and Georgia. The Texas Longhorns' Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium placed 19th, the state's only other venue on the list.
EA Sports College Football releases July 19.
