Strong quarterback performances helped Anna and Rockwall qualify for June's State 7-on-7 tournament in College Station. 

Anna 2025 QB Ziondre Williams (6'0, 175) was surgical as he attacked the defenses, building rapport with new WR Ashton Ansley (6'4, 185), who moved in from Tomball Memorial. Williams holds offers from Texas State, UTSA, Louisiana Tech, and Pitt and is considered one of the top signal callers in the 2026 cycle. 

2025 Rockwall QB Landyn Locke (6'3, 175) has a laser for an arm, allowing him to put the zip requisite to make all the throws accurately. He throws a tremendous deep ball. Locke is rock solid with his commitment to Wisconsin, where his older brother, QB Braedyn Locke, is on the roster. 

Recruiting Notes

2025 Sherman LB Kane Bowen (6'1, 200) has six offers (Kansas State, Nevada, Sam Houston, Texas, Tulsa, UTEP). Tulsa has been recruiting him vigorously; Bowen hopes to set up an official visit with the Golden Hurricane soon. Arizona State, Cal and Baylor remain in the picture but have yet to offer. 

2026 Allen WR Caleb Smith (5'9, 155): Mississippi State is the newest offer in 'Jet's' profile, featuring 12 other schools. Smith is hopeful about taking an unofficial visit to Starkville on March 30. Texas WR Coach Chris Jackson was a recent visitor to Allen, and Smith is hopeful of impressing at a Texas Camp session this summer and earning an offer from the Horns. 

2025 Allen QB Brady Bricker (6'2, 195): Bricker recently picked up his first FBS-level offer from Ball State, but he is also still receiving serious interest from UIW, Navy, Colgate and North Dakota State. 

2026 Kaufman WR Aljour Miles II (6'3, 200) is emerging as one of the top recruits in his class because he has rare athleticism and a strong frame. His first scholarship offer rolled in this spring from Emmett Jones and Oklahoma, so the Sooners justifiably have his attention early on. He also has offers from North Texas, UTSA, and Tulsa. 

2025 Frisco Wakeland WR Ryder Treadway (6'3, 190) has been a man on fire as he is approaching 15 total scholarship offers. His recruiting picture is moving quickly but offers from Tulsa, Toledo, and some Ivy League programs have been memorable. Treadway is considering all offers at this point in the race. 

2025 Argyle Liberty Christian LB CJ Witten (6'1, 215): The son of former Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten (the head coach at Argyle Liberty Christian) is the team's defensive leader, and he showed off his coverage and leadership skills. On the recruiting front, Witten has some good opportunities with Army, Navy, Arkansas State, UTEP or Princeton. 

2025 Rockwall WR Triston Gooch (6'2, 185): Gooch has a solid academic profile and already holds Ivy League-type offers, and an offer from the Army has also made a strong early impression. New Mexico, BYU and Utah State are also still tracking him closely. His father, Quinn Gooch, played at BYU under the tutelage of Bronco Mendenhall, sho is now the head coach at New Mexico.

2026 Rockwall ATH Jack Duckworth (6'0, 170): The talented two-way star has seen 10 offers come in at cornerback, but he recently picked up his first offer as a wide receiver from UNLV. Arizona State, Arkansas, Arkansas State, North Texas, Pittsburgh, San Diego State, SMU, Texas State, UTEP and Wisconsin have also offered. 

2025 Lewisville DB Zephyn Walker (6'0, 180): His recruiting profile is rising because he is a versatile team leader who can cover and tackle. He now has offers from Oregon State, Coastal Carolina, Navy, and Arkansas State and is in the process of scheduling his official visits. 

2027 Lewisville CB Taelyn Mayo (6'4, 180): It's rare to find cornerbacks with his size and length, and he immediately jumps out on the field because of it. Colleges are slabs showing him major interest as he already has seven offers. Texas, Texas A&M and Oregon are recruiting him the most aggressively early on. 

The 2027 class at Lewisville is loaded, but one name you may not have heard of yet is 2027 ATH Landon Bogany (6'2, 195). Bogany is a jumbo athlete who may ultimately project to the defensive side of the football as an edge defender, but he showed off his athleticism playing receiver at this event. Colorado State was his first offer and Oklahoma State and Arkansas State are showing strong interest.
